Thai boxing T-shrit

This is a T-shrit for Thai boxing fan club and Thai boxing comunity. The design is created by boxing glove and some Thai and English text. Actually, I think the design is not quite good. It still has some more thing to put to make it better.

•  Design 02: Design in a style that appeals to a fashion label

                                                                                    T-shirt tell status

I used to design some cartoons on the bag and T-shirt before.  In Thailand, some kind of fashion like this T-shirts are very popular in group of teenager. The T-shirt was design by the text to tell the status like "single, in relationship", or some text like "I'm lonely, I need someone and I love you". In my design, I put more cute pictures in the T-shrit like the picture to make it more interesting and more attractive.

This is my favorite 3D idea "Fake swimming pool in Japan". It is not only good idea but it just amazing!!! Something that is a simple in our life but people put they idea to make it becomes more interesting. This fake pool looks very simple like other swimming pools but it fakes!! that is the interesting thing. I saw some people in the video, they took the pictures with many actions as if they are drown in the pool and it looks so real. I think this pool will be the famous for people who like to take a photo. I think it is a strange idea but it works!!

This is a useful video about "how to create a logo". I think it is a interesting website. The lady doesn't teach how to create a logo like other videos do but she just tells the tips and explain it by her experience. I think it will be useful for everyone who start to create logo. One thing that she said about logo is "simple". I always think about fantastic design for logo but the most important thing that i always forget is logo is "simple".

My favorite video for this week

This video is a tip for drawing a rotated.  In 2D 3D design class, I don't only idea to create a good design but i also need good drawing skill. I love watching drawing video from youtube. I followed this guy in many his posts. He gives many good tips for drawing and some also good for the starter because he explains in a easy way. If you want to look more in his videos, you can search his name "5PencilMethod " in youtube. You might find some video are useful for you. I will post more my favorite videos from him later.

Week1 3D

My favorite 3D

This is my favorite 3D image. In this image, it is not only a beautiful picture but also a good element. Personally, I like dealistic and seascape picture. The dark color is good color to reflect the mood and image was created by similar tone to make the depth and balance.

I saw this video in youtube. It uses Google Earth program to show the famous places in the world. Personally, I also use this program and i like it. Compare to the old version which we can see any places in 2d only, this version is pretty cool for me. It makes people interested in that places and also make a lot of people who have never downloaded this program try to download it.

Week3 3D

GROUP EXERCISE
• THIS WEEK - Creative thinking techniques
o Based on the concept of REDUCE, brainstorm one design concept for an ecofriendly form of personal transport
o Brand your design with a catchy name
o Enter sketches and notes directly into your blog

Name: Bottle boat
This idea I get it from Thailand. We always face with flood. In that situation, everything around us which can be useful will be used to produce the necessary things like boat. One of the useful things is plastic bottles.

PRACTICAL – Design Options
30 mins – Individually draft a range of 3 excellent design options for your groups ecofriendly form of personal transport

• Brand your 3 design options with a catchy name
• Use any tools you wish
• Put the results and a paragraph of description in your blog
• Describe how each of these options differ in
o Function
o Materials
o Style
OR any 3 criteria of your own choosing – list these criteria clearly

1. Floody boat.

Function - float on the water
                - light
                - come with 1 paddle and 1 seat
Materials - 70 plastic bottles (0.5 liter), wire, plastic paper tape, 1paddle
Style -

2. Floody survival (develop from Floody boat)

Style -

Here is the video project from youtube.

Can you imagine how cool it is!! if they build this transport. It can show that how much human brain have developed. I think this transport is a very good idea to reduce the energy and make the traveling is further. It can travel from New York yo LA in 45 miuntes and from New York to China in 2 hours and that sound fantastic!! However, I think is it still worring about the safety in case of technocal problem. If the transport can move very fast like that and if it has something wrong, it would cause an acident easy.

GROUP EXERCISE

•  THIS WEEK - Creative thinking techniques
o  Generating design ideas – random word combos
o  Inventing options – making variations
•  5 mins - Read W03 Creative Thinking in Handouts
•  25 mins - Each group creates ONE word combo
•  Each person in the group creates TWO 2D design options - based on the
chosen word combo

Two words
1)    Mobile : Multi-function (call, take a photo and video, mp3 and mp4, internet, recording, etc.), USB, cable, using electricity.
2)    Mirror : reflex, clear, thin, glittering, hard.

My 2D design

Mobile mirror
It looks like normal mobile but it is decorated by small pieces of mirror. The screen is made by mirror so it can reflect.

Mirror mobile
It looks like a normal mirror, which you can put in your bedroom or your bathroom, but this mirror has more functional than reflect. You can use this mirror as a mobile phone by touch the bottom menu. There are functions which you can use for in stance calling and video calling. The camera is placed on the top of the mirror. More over, it also has other functions like internet connection, email, mp3 and mp4. You can plug in to use it at home or charge it and use out side.

Here is a video of 2D drawing animation.

This is a video with real time. In 9.47 miniute the artist can draw the picture by computer and the picture is amazing. It is not only one picture but the artist draw many picture to create the movement. For me, I don't have a lot of ability in using computer to draw so i think this artist is pretty cool. In creating an animation movie, I don't know how do they make it but if the process start by this way which use the artist's hand to darw in computer. I think it would take very long time to create one animation cartoon. This thing is very good way to shows the ability, patience, and meticulousness of the artist.
